Coinciding with the University of Queensland's Centenary celebrations in 2010, the School of Dentistry proudly celebrates 75 years of excellence in oral health education. We recently commemorated,`the Journey' with a couple of well attended events :

Back to School for `75 years - The Journey’

On the 9th of July, the School of Dentistry welcomed our Dentistry and Oral Health Alumni `Back to School’ for a series of free continuing professional development taster courses designed to reflect on the journey, the achievements and the future, while providing an opportunity to hear about the future Oral Health Centre at Herston. It featured CPD tasters, `3D Imaging Revolution' presented by Professor Paul Monsour and, `Diagnose, Detect, Destroy, New Technologies for Dental Practice' by both Head of School,  Professor Laurence Walsh and Deputy Head of School A/Professor Camile Farah.

Dentistry Alumni 75 years Gala Dinner

On the 10th of July a Gala Dinnner celebration was held at the historic University of Queensland’s Customs House. It provided an opportunity for Dentistry Alumni and associated colleagues to reunite with former classmates and celebrate this monumental occasion.
