Student representation

 

The students at the UQ Dental School are represented by the Turbot Street Officer/s (elected annually). The Office of Turbot St. Officer provides student services, to Bachelor of Dental Science and Bachelor of Oral Health students, ranging from Union representation, to student liaison, and provision of appropriate funding to support student activities.


The current Turbot St Representatives are:

Mr. Ruhong (Ru) CHUA.


Student activities are also organised by the University of Queensland Dental Association (UQDA). The current UQDA executives are:

Mr. Ruhong Chua (President)

Ms. Valeria Julianto (Vice-President)

Mr. Long Ho (Treasurer)

Ms. Kirsty McLaughlin (Corporate Liaison)

Ms. Lucia Dixon (Secretary)

Mr. Jae Choi (Sports Officer).

 

Membership of UQDA helps in part to fund various events such as the boat cruise, sports day, annual dinner, bowling and social hours; members receive discounted tickets.
